She was born on February 23, 1931 in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Lawrence and Ethel Reed. Marjorie was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Ionia and was a professional business woman, owning Mar-ka-tone, a beauty shop in Grand Ledge for many years before moving to Ionia, where she kept doing hair before running the Chamber of Commerce in Ionia and Belding where she worked closely with the Ionia Free Fair. She later moved on to helping people at Eight Cap. Marjorie was very active in the Community Theatre for many years and in her later life enjoyed gambling and casinos and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Gary, a son Matthew, brother-in-laws, Bill Farman and Chuck Green. Surviving are husband of 44 years, Jerry; sons Tony (Charlie) Wawiernia, Randy (Tracey) Duell, and Jeff (Tammy) Duell; daughters Kathy (Terry) Donovan and Kellie Davis; 15 grandchildren Brandy, Trever, Timmy, Rodney, Anastasia, Christian, Jessica, Landon, Mark, Mandy, Tom, Patrick, Melanie, Brent, and Brian; 9 great- grandchildren; sisters Jan Green, Shirley (Frank) Pierce, Barb Farman, Peg (Richard) Baldwin; Brother, Phil Reed. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Rite of Committal will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Ionia. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Schrauben- Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia, and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
