Portland Review & Observer, 26 Jul 1951

Harold Duffey, 58, died on Sunday at a hospital in Wayne County.  He was a 
former resident of this vicinity, having attended school in both Portland and 
Sunfield.  His home was in Garden City, near Wayne.  The deceased had been in 
ill health for the past two years, although he frequently visited his brother, 
Burr Duffey, near Sunfield.

Surviving are the wife, Margaret; son, Dale, in the US navy; brother, Burr 
Duffey, of Sunfield; sister, Ruby Trumble, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two half-
sisters, Cora Smith, near Mulliken, and Ethel Kent, of Alma.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Wayne and burial was in 
a cemetery near Wayne.
