Betty I. Duffey, age 88, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at a Lansing hospital 
following a short illness.  Mrs. Duffey was born February 3, 1926 in Danby 
Township, a daughter of A. Burton and Minnie A. (Sayer) Brown.  She was 
farmer/homemaker and a long-time member of the Danby Cemetery Society.

Her husband Bernard, died in 2001.  Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Kirk) 
Moyer of Portland; three sons, Gordon (Kathy) Duffey of Mulliken, Dennis (Sue) 
Duffey of Grand Ledge and Ken Duffey of Sunfield; 10 grandchildren, Susan 
(Kevin) Ray, Stacey (Jason) Knapp, Jody Moyer, Jessica Moyer (Sean Henry), 
Jeffrey Duffey, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Reynolds, Scott (Janell) Duffey, Kari (Rob) 
Linn, Erin (Brian) Coffman and Cheryl Duffey; 6 great-grandchildren, Booklyn 
Ann Marie Duffey, Caitlynn Duffey, Nathan Ray, Brennan Ray, Hazel Henry and 
Logan Coffman; 2 brothers, Wayne Brown of Sunfield and Walter Brown of 
Portland; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Brown of Sunfield and Roma Brown of Grand 
Ledge; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, 
Mulliken, with Pastor Clare Huyck officiating.  Interment in Danby Cemetery.  
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sunfield S.P.Y.S.
