Duffey, 20, who was killed Dec. 12 while fighting in South Vietnam. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Berwell Duffey of Charlotte Route 5, he previously had been listed as missing in action. Duffey, a 1960 graduate of Maple Valley High School who lettered in football three years, later worked at the Fisher Body Co. plant in Lansing before entering the Army in April, 1970. He went to Vietnam in February, 1971. Also surviving are three sisters, Deborah Sue, Laurie Jo and Anne Marie, and a brother, Steven Lee, all at home, and grandparents, Mrs. Nellie Doolittle of Mulliken and Mr. and Mrs. Burr Duffey of Bradenton, Fla. Burial will be in Danby Township Cemetery, Ionia County.
