Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Feb 1972

A former Ionia resident, John G. Duffy, 67, of 228 West Lapeer, Lansing, died 
Friday afternoon at St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing.

He was born August 13, 1904, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Duffy, 
Sr., who were residents of Ionia.  He attended SS Peter and Paul academy.

Surviving are his wife, Ada, of Lansing and a sister, Mrs. Bess Williams of 
Ionia, and two nieces.

Mr. Duffy is at Palmer-Bush funeral home in Lansing where funeral arrangements 
are incomplete.
