Ionia Standard, 10 Mar 1911

James H. Duffy died at the home, 919 Welton street, at 2:30 o’clock on Sunday 
morning, after an illness of several weeks.  He was aged 52 years, and was well 
known to many Ionians as a market and landscape gardener.  He is survived by his 
wife, a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Hogan, two sons, Thomas and Joe, and a stepson, 
Walter Raymond.  Funeral on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock, attended at the Church 
of SS. Peter & Paul.
