Ionia Sentinel
Requiem High Mass was sung by the Rev. John Fons at 9 a.m. Tuesday at SS Peter 
and Paul church for William M. Duffy, Jr., formerly of Ionia, who died 
Saturday morning in Grand Rapids.  Prayer services preceded the church 
services at the Myers funeral home at 8:30 a.m.

Bearers were John Weatherwax, Roy Stanard, William Powell, Frank Frost, 
Michael Kowalski and Alfred Fink.  Interment was in the family lot in St. 
Mary’s cemetery in Muskegon.

Attending from out of town were Mr and Mrs Jack Duffy and Mr and Mrs Thomas 
Kennedy of Lansing, Al Fink of Westphalia, Mrs. Anna Wolverton of Coopersville 
and Jack Warren and Mrs. Evelyn Anton of Grand Rapids.
