Portland Library Scrapbook - August. 1890

                         ELLA O DUFFY

Mrs.Edward Duffy died at her home in Portland Township, Tuesday, August 19, 
1890. the funeral services took place in the Cong'l church here on Thursday, 
Rev. D.E.Millard officiating. 

The deceased was born in DeWitt,Clinton county in 1856, and was therefore 34 
years of age. She moved into this township with her parents, Mr.and Mrs.Phillip 
Piper, 14 years ago. 

She leaves two little girls, one seven and the other eleven years old, and a 
large circle of friends and acquaintances.
