Lyons Herald, 29 Oct 1908

Died in his home in Lyons on Sunday, October 25th, Patrick Duhig, aged 69 
years.  Deceased was born December 11, 1839, and has been a resident of this 
village for 35 years.  He was married to Martha Stout in 1858, the Monday 
following his death being the 50th anniversary of said marriage.  He is 
survived by a widow and three children, John Duhig, Mrs. Ella Olmstead and Mrs. 
Frances DeVore, all of whom have the sympathy of the community.  

The funeral was held Tuesday from the house, conducted by Rev. Wm. Judd, 
assisted by Rev. W. W. Hurd and a choir composed of Mesdames Bradt and Hawley 
and Messrs. Balch and Hale.  The attendance was large and the floral offerings 
many.  Interment in Lyons cemetery.
