She was born in New York and came to Ionia as a child. She was the daughter of the late Fay and Daniel Alexander, who lived in South Ionia many years. They owned and operated the former Orpheum theater in Ionia. Mrs. Duiker attended Ionia high school and later married Dr. Henry Duiker of Grand Rapids and made her home there until after his death in 1956 when she moved to Caledonia, Minn. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Schroeder of Caledonia; there grandsons. Funeral services were Saturday in Caledonia and interment at Evergreen cemetery, Caledonia, Minn.
