Hasting's Reminder Saturday -  April 16, 2022

                              WAYNE DUITS

Wayne Duits, age 86, of Hastings, MI passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Wayne was born August 24, 1935 to Jacob and Jenny Duits in Sioux Center, Iowa. 
Wayne worked as a custodian for many years at the Lakewood Public Schools. for 
30 years he was a member of the Chain gang for Vikings Football. Wayne was an 
avid golfer and supporter of the Barry County Junior Golf Associations at the 
Legacy at Hastings.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 8 years, Marian, Children, Richard 
(Anita) Duits, Bruce (Julie) Duits, Kevin (Laurie) Duits, Vickie (Doug) Wilson 
and Susan (Mike Sakato) Lowell; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; 
brother, Kenneth Duits.

Preceding Waybe in death are his parents; four siblings and grandson, Dustin 
Wilson.

Visitation is planned for 2 until 5 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel on Monday, 
April 11, 2022. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 12 2022 at  11 
a.m. at Koops with burial to follow at Woodland Memorial Park, Woodland.

Memorials in Wayne's name can be given to the Barry County Junior Golf 
Association.
