The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 24, 2005
Syverine W. Dukes, aged 63, of Ionia, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005 
at home. She was born December 31, 1941 in Grand Ledge the daughter of Lloyd 
and May (Seemore) Avery. She married Norman Dukes 1971 in Grand Ledge who 
preceded her in death December 12, 1993. 

She is survived by her children Rosemary and Roger Roberts of Ionia, Richard 
Allen of Ionia, Bobbi Sedelmaier of Ionia, Lyle Allen of Ionia, Sally Dukes of 
Ionia; brothers Vern Beebe of Indiana, George and Linda Beebe of Ionia; 
sisters, Rosemary Brass of Indiana, Clara and Jim Gage of Goose City, MI; 
eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death 
by one brother and one sister. 

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir 
with Rev. Dan Klotz officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives 
Monday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone 
wishing may make a memorial contribution in Syverine's name to Family Choice.
