Richard F. Dulek, 88, of Sheridan, died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Carson City
Hospital.  He was born March 16, 1920 in Ionia to Andrew F. and Alta A.
(Bennett) Dulek.  He married Pauline M. (Willard) Dulek February 14, 1976 in
Sheridan.  Mr. Dulek has been a longtime resident of the Vickeryville area.  He
was a US Army veteran of World War II, a life member of the VFW Post 5065, where
he was a former post commander, a life member of the 40 & 8, the Cooties and the
American Legion in Greenville.  He was a retired painter and decorator.  In
addition, he loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or gardening and
spending time with his family plus playing cards . . .  he will be missed by all
those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline M. Dulek; two daughters Carolyn Wieczorek of
Belding and Sharon Dulek of Paris, Mich.; one son, Doug (Debra) Dulek of
Greenville; one step-daughter Michelle (Randy) Miller of Houghton Lake; 9
grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sister- in-law, Maysel Miller of
Orleans, Mich. and [unreadable] of Belding; and several nieces and nephews.  He
was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Simpson Family Funeral
Home, Sheridan, Mich.  Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2008,
beginning at 11 a.m. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home.  Pastor Kenneth Harger
from the Shiloh Community Church, will be officiating and Military Rites will be
given by the VFW Post 5065 of Sheridan.  Interment will follow cremation; the
final interment will be at Balcom Cemetery, Ionia.
