Smyrna Farmer Died In Chair Sunday Evening.

Friends of Fred B. Dumon were shocked at the news of his sudden death Sunday
evening, Jan. 9, at the age of 67, while visiting with his family.  His death
was attributed to a heart attack.

Well known throughout this vicinity, he was born and spent his entire life on
the Dumon farm east of Smyrna where he passed away, leaving a host of loyal
friends.  He was a member of the Friendship club.

Born June 19, 1881, he was married to Edith Estabrook on Dec. 31, 1912, and only
recently the couple was honored when they celebrated their 36th wedding
anniversary.  

Mr. Dumon is survived by his wife, and his mother, Mrs. Orinda Dumon, who is 91
years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon at the Fitzjohn Funeral
Home.  Rev. H.S. Ellis will officiate and burial will be in the Smyrna cemetery.
