Died As Result Of Auto Crash

Mrs. Ralph Dumond, the unfortunate victim of an automobile crash at the Advent
corners in Orleans township, several miles southeast of this city, on Labor Day,
and who had remained in a paralyzed condition following the accident, died on
Wednesday evening of last week at her home in Ionia.  The paralysis affected her
and was complete from the shoulders down.

Mrs. Dumond was 43 years of age and leaves to mourn her untimely death the grief
stricken husband and five children, a brother, an aged father and a number of
other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o clock, with interment in
Highland park cemetery at Ionia.  Relatives and friends from this city attending
the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kidd and family and Miss Cecil Fleck, Mrs.
Thomas Kidd and daughter, Edna and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sanborn.
