Surviving her husband, William Dumper, by six days, Mrs. Matilda Dumper passed 
away at her home in Easton township Monday afternoon at the age of 75 years.  
Mrs. Dumper was born in Canada and came to Michigan when quite young.  She has 
been a resident of Ionia county for many years.  Mr. Dumper passed away at his 
home last Wednesday evening and the funeral service was held Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Dumper is survived by three children, Mrs. Sarah Blow and Melvin Dumper, 
who lives at home.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Wilson Orser, of 
Belding, and a brother, Levi Conner, of Easton township.

The funeral was held at the residence Wednesday afternoon at four o’clock 
eastern time or three o’clock standard time.  Burial in the Easton cemetery.
