Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, May 18, 1948

Mrs. Josephine Dunigan, 75, former resident of Ionia and mother of  Gerald 
Dunigan of Ionia died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sturgis Memorial hospital. She 
had been in declining health for the past year and a half.

She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio, November 15, 1872. She was united in 
marriage in 1901 to Roger Dunigan in Bowling Green.

Mrs. Dunigan is survived by a daughter, Sister Maria Raphael of Detroit, two 
sons, Gerald of Ionia and Father Raphael Dunigan of Sturgis, two brothers and 
four grandchildren. 

Services will be conducted at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Hudson, 
Friday  morning at 10:00 o'clock with interment in the Mt. Calvary cemetery in 
Hudson. Rosary will be said at Sturgis at Foglesong funeral home at 8 p.m. 
Wednesday.
