Dunmore, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at the Laurels of Fulton Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Dunmore was a longtime resident of Ionia and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She served as an Army nurse in France during WWII and was also a pilot. Mrs. Dunmore was also made an honorary member of the Carson City VFW last year. Jean, along with her husband Donald, owned and operated the Dunmore Funeral Home in Adrian for many years. Mrs. Dunmore is survived by her nieces, Dee Husted and Paula Dolley; nephews, Mike Fuller and Joe Fuller; several grandnieces and nephews; and very special friend, Norma Sage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and sister Betty Fuller. The funeral liturgy will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia, with Rev. Fr. Melvin Fox, Pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday.
