Schue of Grand Rapids. The Dunn family were turning to their home at Ionia from Lansing. When they reached a point a short distance west of Ferguson’s corner, their car ran out of gas. Mr. and Mrs. Dunn left the two children in the machine and were behind their car pushing it from the pavement when the car driven by Schue approached from the west. As it drew closer to them Mr. Dunn saw that it was traveling on the wrong side of the road and grabbing his wife attempted to jump out of danger, but just then the crash came, the Schue car ramming their machine head on, catching the unfortunate woman in the wreckage. Mr. Dunn and the two children in the car escaped uninjured. Schue was placed under arrest and is now in the county jail. An inquest will be held and the finding of the coroner’s jury will decide whether or not a charge of murder will be lodged against him.
