Dunn of Shepherd, formerly of Belding, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ellis funeral home at Belding. Mrs. Dunn died Thursday when she was blown to bits with a stick of dynamite in the hands of her estranged husband. The mother of eight children, Mrs. Dunn was 39 and killed with her husband Versal, also formerly of Belding, forced her from her home and lighted two sticks of dynamite which he held in his hand. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Geister of Belding, four sons Glenn and James Potter and Gary Lee and Larry Dunn, four daughters, Mrs. Shirley Fisher, Verla Jean Dunn and Susan Dunn of Shepherd and Mrs. Joan Terry of St. Louis. Six brothers also survive. They are Herman and Richard of Belding, Carl, Earl, and Robert of Flint and Henry Geister of Sheridan; four sisters, Mrs. Richard Olsen of Sheridan, Mrs. Vern Thatcher of Coral, Mrs. Dick Anstett of Belding and Mrs. Ted Chryster of Flint. Burial will be in River Ridge cemetery at Belding.
