The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 26, 1942
Mrs. John Dunn, 71, died Sunday at 7:50 p.m. at her home in Lyons following a 
week’s illness. She had been in poor health for the past several years.  Born 
in Dundee, New York, Marilla Z. Loomis, she was married in Pewamo to John Dunn 
in 1916.  They lived in Pewamo for several years and from there moved to 
Lansing.  They had made their home in Lyons for the past two years.  She was 
the mother of two children by a former marriage.  One daughter died some time 
ago.  Surviving are the husband, John, and the one son, Otto Miller of 
Knoxville, Pennsylvania.  Funeral arrangements have not been made.
