Beryl Ilene Dunton, 82, of Saranac passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.  Beryl 
was the daughter of Berson and Theora (Batey) Bowen of Wyoming, MI. 

She is survived by her husband Robert G. Dunton.; daughters, Emmy (Chuck) 
Kinney of Barryton and Veronica (Herb) Jones of Piersen; son, Phil B, (Marilou) 
Vanderbilt of the Phillipines; step-sons Richard (Liz) Dunton of Cedar Springs 
and Randy Dunton of Casnovia; sister, Charleen Roosien of Allendale; brother 
Daniel J. (Judy) Bowen of Comstock Park; brother-in-law Donald (Freida) Dunton 
of Milford, OH; eight grandchildren Ed, Frank, Rachel, Vanessa, Ben, Emily, 
Nicole, Jon and Robert; many great grandchildren. 

Beryl was a member of the Saranac Community Church and the Michigan Draft Horse 
Breeders Association.  She spent her life in the health care profession helping 
preserve the health of others.  Beryl loved her horses and helped her husband 
in raising, caring for and showing Belgian Draft Horses. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15 at the Saranac 
Community Church with Pastor Becky Poor officiating.  Interment Saranac 
Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac.
