The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 14, 1966

Services for Willard C. Durkee, 77, were Saturday afternoon at 2:30 and 
conducted by the Rev. Robert McComb, pastor of First Presbyterian church.  Mr. 
Durkee died at his Adams street home Thursday following a lingering illness.

Bearers were Harold Harwood, Ernest Wright, Robert Bartosh, John Sarlouis, Leo 
Zanto and Donald Badder.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Relatives attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Buttermore and 
family of Sparta, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Perry and family of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert Densmore and family and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoppes of Portland; Mr. 
and Mrs. James Keast and family and Larry Corkwell of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Moe, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. William Haas, Mr. and Mrs. James Blochowiak and 
Judy of Lake Odessa; Mrs. Jean Kroes and Mrs. Ted Lamberston of Orleans.
