Ionia County News, 16 Nov 1939

Mrs. Lafayette Durkee

Eva Sharp Durkee, 70, died at her home in Odessa township early Sunday morning,
November 12.  She had been ill several months.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Vernon Sharp, Battle Creek, two
daughters, Mrs. Belle Martin of Chicago, Mrs. Stephen Dadd of Muir, children of
a former marriage, and six stepchildren, Rev. Raymond Durkee, Williamston;
Clarence Durkee, Barryton; Mrs. Lois Leigh, Lansing; Mrs. Mildred Bouch, Grand
Ledge; Mrs. Doris Pert, Traverse City, and Mrs. Alice Beard of Lake Odessa.

Funeral service was from the home, Lake Odessa, Tuesday afternoon, and burial
was at Muir.
