The Portland Observer, Wednesday, January 30, 1901
Emily Dutcher, wife of Thomas P. Dutcher of Danby township was buried from the 
United Brethren church in Portland on Wednesday last.  She was 83 years of age 
and died on the 20th.  Beside a husband, who is a pensioner of the Mexican 
war, Mrs. Will Peake and Wm. Dutcher of Danby township survive her.
