Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Sep 1959

Mrs. Sarah Dutton, 75, died suddenly Friday at her home at 605 West Washington 
street.

She was born August, …[unreadable] in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Mrs. Dutton had been a resident of Ionia for the past 25 years, previous to 
that she had lived in the Lyons area.  She was married to Orley Gibson in 1900, 
and was later married to James Dutton in 1937, who survives her.

Surviving besides her husband are one son, Harvey A. Gibson of route four; one 
daughter, Mrs. Lucille Rich of Haynor road; two grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ella Hancock of Lyons.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lyons Methodist church.  The 
Rev. Richard Kidder will officiate and burial will be at Lyons cemetery.

The body of Mrs. Dutton will be at the Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan until 
Monday noon.
