Hicks. ---------------- Playmates Carry Child To Grave. One of the saddest funerals to be held in many months was that of little Dwaine Rasmussen, which was held from the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rasmussen, in Easton township, Thursday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. E. E. Branch, of Ionia, officiated, and the burial took place in the Easton cemetery. The service was largely attended by the many relatives and friends of the little fellow, who had been very healthy and robust. His sudden death last Monday night was a great shock to the community as he had been here in the city in the afternoon. He was but four years of age. The music was furnished by Mrs. R. A. Colwell and Chandler Haight. Three little girls and three little boys, all pupils of the Goodwin school, which is just across the road from the Rasmussen home, carried the little casket to its final resting place. The bearers were Grace Karnke, Pauline Ellison, Helen Rowley, Kenneth Rowley, Harold Higgins and Elroy Ellison.
