Josephine A. Dwyer, 88, of Belding and formerly of Hubbardston, died Monday at 
United Memorial Hospital in Greenville.  She was born May 25, 1903 in Pewamo to 
Peter and Anna Dunneback Cook.  

She married Edward Dwyer in 1925, in Pewamo.  He preceded her in death in 
1976.  She was a member of the St. John Altar’s Society in Hubbardston.

Surviving her are her daughter Dorothy Bliss of Fenwick, two sons, Ray of 
Stanton and John of Grand Ledge, her sister Martha Jack of Florida, 14 
grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City from 2 to 4 p.m. 
and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.  Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday.  Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church in Hubbardston.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church cemetery.
