He was 72 years of age, having been born February 16, 1867, and has spent his entire life on the same farm. He was a well known and highly esteemed citizen, obliging and upright in his manner of living. He was a generous and devout member of the St. Johns Catholic Church of Hubbardston, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society. Since the death of his sister, Mary, nearly three years ago, his nephew, Earl Dwyer, and family have made their home with him. He is survived by one brother, Jerry, of Carson City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services took place Saturday December 30 from St. John church, Rev. Fr. E. Fox officiating.
