Dye taught during the past school year at Flushing and had signed a contract to teach next year there also. He was employed as an accountant in the state hospital from April, 1942 until July, 1943. In August, 1943, he began work in a temporary position entitled prison academic supervisor at the reformatory. He left there in February, 1944. He also taught adult education classes at Ionia high school. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in a Flushing funeral home with interment in a Kalamazoo cemetery.
