Dye, aged 79 years, for many years a resident of Ronald township, died at the residence early Tuesday morning after a short illness. The cause of her death was given as old age. Mrs. Dye had been a resident of Ronald township for many years. The Dye farm is located a short distance north of Woodard lake. Mr. Dye passed away July 13, 1912, and Mrs. Dye is survived by two children, Mrs. Arntz, of Grand Rapids, and Douglas Dye at home. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Robert Hall, of near Fenwick, and two brothers, Benjamin Penny of Grand Rapids, and William Penny, of Montana. The funeral services will be held from the residence Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, sun time. Burial will take place in the family lot in Oak Hill cemetery, Ionia.
