Dye, died there Friday morning. He was 89 years of age and was a veteran of both the Mexican and Civil wars. The infirmities of age had caused a steady decline for the last three weeks and the end came quietly. He was a bachelor and his former home was at Mecosta, Mich. Funeral services were held at the house Saturday morning, Rev. R. H. MacGregor officiating. Burial was in Tuttle cemetery in Orange.
