RONALD V. DYE 1949-2016
Ronald V. Dye, age 67 of Ionia, passed away Aug. 3, 2016 in Grand Rapids. He was
born Feb. 23, 1949 in Ionia, Mi the son of Lloyd V. and Ella M.(Kirby) Dye. Ron 
married Carolyn Nummer Oct. 21, 1967 in Ionia.He was an avid fisherman and hunter. 
He also loved watching birds and deer.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn Dye of Ionia; brothers,
Robert Dye (Sulyn) of Ionia; sisters, Sharon (Douglas) Ward of Muir and Deb (Farmer) 
Adams of Ionia; brothers-in-law, Gary and Joann Nummer, Jim and Joan Nummer, Jeff 
Nummer (Tammy), Stan Nummer, and Greg Nummer (Marylee); sister-in-law, Norma (Gary) 
Williams and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Scott Van Doren Dye, mother and
father-in-law, Melvin and Gladys Nummer and brother-in-law Gordon Nummer.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday Aug.8, 2016 at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia
with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be
Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia
