Barbara was born in Grand Rapids,MI on April 24, 1937, one of six children, to Edward and Mabel (Dursum) McCaul. Shortly after moving to the Clarksville area, and as she began junior high school years, she met the love of her life, Larry. After graduating, they married, made their home and raised their family in Lake Odessa. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother who loved and cherished every moment of that role.Her continuous faith and love in God, Larry, her family and friends radiated her kind, compassionate, and giving heart to all. She loved spending time with her family, friends and church family She enjoyed cooking and baking, for all; crocheting, in which every grandchild and great grandchild received a blanket at birth; and spending endless hours working on her card ministry. She was a life time member of the Lakewood Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mother- in-law, Wilbur and Margaret Dye; daughter, Brenda Carter; grandson, Skyler Curry; siblings,Jack(Janet) McCaul, Betty(Ray) Pett, Jerry Bray; sister-in-law, Lois (Melvin) Bartholomew and brothers-in-law, Larry Reser and Dallas Dye. Barbara was a extremely sweet and generous soul who will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Larry; daughters, Cathy(Mark)Johnson Sally (Perry) Stimback, Karen(Tom) Kosten, Rachel Dye; son-in-law, Marty (Karrie) Carter; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Patricia Reser and Jean (Kurt) Guild; brother-in-law,Ron Bray along with so many special nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends, too many to mention. Visitation was held Saturday, Jan.6 2024 until time of service at Lakewood Community Church, 10265 E. Brown Rd. Lake Odessa, MI 48849.
