Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 & 26 Jan 1928

Mrs. Harvey Dye, South Ionia, Dead

Mrs. Harvey Dye, age 55 years, died at her home in South Ionia Monday morning at
9 o’clock after an illness of several months.  Mrs. Dye held membership in Queen
Esther chapter, O.E.S.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Hazzard, South
Ionia; two sons, Harry Dye, South Ionia, and Van Doren L. Dye, Grand Rapids;
also a brother, G. Yates Smith, Ionia and a sister, Mrs. Frank Hutchins, Grand
Rapids.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from the residence at 2 o’clock, and at 2:30
from the Baptist church, Rev. Trenerry officiating.

The funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Dye were conducted Wednesday from the
house at 2 o’clock and from the Baptist church at 2:30.  The church was filled.
 Rev. Alfred Trenerry conducted the services and Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs.
R.A. Colwell with Mrs. Leonard Swanson at the organ provided the music.  Charles
Hutchings, Roy Munger, Robert Munger, and H. Dodge were the bearers.  The
interment was in Highland Park cemetery.
