Dye arrived in Ionia, the old home town, from Colorado, on Saturday night, accompanied by his son Will, and the funeral was attended from the Church of Christ Monday. There were many relatives present, and a sprinkling of members of the grand army and personal friends. Rev. G. Webster Moore officiated, and delivered a most thoughtful discourse, founded upon the story of the burial of the father by Joseph, the faithful son, and the singing was by Mrs. G. M. Phelps and Mrs. John McLenan. The carriers were Chas. R. Dye, E. S. Welch, John H. and Edward Hamilton.
