Ionia Sentinel Standard, Mar 2010

Ralph B. Dyer, 82, of Ionia, passed away March 11, 2010.  He was born May 9,
1927, in the Village of Lyons, the son of Ralph D. and Myrtle (Guernsey) Dyer.

He is survived by his brother Raymond (Betty) Dyer of Lyons; nephews Robert
(Marion) Dyer of Fenwick, and Jack (Nicki) Dyer of Portland; nieces Judy (Pat)
Soeltner of Lyons and Jean (Jeff) Huff of Fenwick; several great nieces and
nephews; special cousin who was raised as a brother, Leo Allen of Ionia; the
Allen Family; Julie and Don Reiger of Ionia; Debbie and Bob Flinn of Ionia; and
special friends Jim Ekwall of Saranac and Don Shoen of Lyons.  He was preceded
in death by his parents Ralph and Myrtle Dyer, and his Aunt Mildred Scarbrough,
who raised him.

As requested by the family, there will be no funeral services for Ralph. 
Funeral arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions should be directed to the Ionia Animal Shelter.
