Oct. 7, 1972 MYRTLE ILAH DYER Mrs. Myrtle Ilah Dyer, 61, of 1270 Guernsey road, route 1, Lyons, died at her home late Friday afternoon following an extended illness. Born in Ionia township on Guernsey road March 6, 1911, she was the daughter of Emery and Jessie Hodge Guernsey. She attended Gorham school and lived her entire life in the Ionia area. She worked at Peschke packing plant 26 years until the company left Ionia. Surviving are two sons, Ralph and Raymond of route 1, Lyons; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Clarence Scarbrough, route 1, Lyons. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 pm at Leddick funeral home. Rev. Donald Fry of LeValley United methodist Church will officiate and interment will be at Tuttle cemetery. Donald R.Fry of LeValley United Methodist church officiating. Bearers were Ernest Dalton, Donald Shoen, Frank Lance, Ronald Davis, Dale Jarman and Russell Croel. Burial was in Tuttle cemetery.
