Ionia Daily Sentinel, 19 Jun 1915

Gilbert Dyke died at Grand Rapids Sunday at the home of his brother-in-law, Z.
Livingston, 46 North Michigan avenue.  Mr. Dyke had been working at the Stafford
factory and went to Grand Rapids last week to take treatment for heart trouble
from which he had suffered for the past six months.  He was about 35 years of
age and leaves a wife.  He served in the Spanish-American war and three years in
the regular army in the Philippines.  He was a member of the Oddfellows here,
being transferred from the Grand Rapids lodge.  The funeral and burial will be
held at Grand Rapids.
