   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

      CHRISTINE LORETTA DZIK

Died September 14, 2025-age 80 of Fenwick, MI
Born June 14, 1945 to Alexander & Jean (Protasiewicz) Chernik.
Married Leonard J. Dzik on May 22, 1965, he preceded her in death November 21, 
2012.
Christine worked for the 4-H Extension Office as an administrative coordinator.
She was also an active member of the Humane Society.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids & was a wonderful mother & grandma.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting & was the best apple pie baker.
Survived by her daughter, Deborah Dzik, sister, Elaine (Joe) Krzeminski, nieces 
& nephews, brother, Frederick Chernik. 
Grandchildren, Tara Fancett & Carter McDiarmid. Great-grandson, Chase Neff.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, daughter Susan & brother 
John.
Funeral services will be held at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday, 
September 25 at 3:00 pm. with Pastor Dave Mertins officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday 103 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia County Animal Shelter.
