David Lake Odessa - Phillip A. David, 80, retired meat cutter, died Monday at 4 P.M. at Pennock hospital, Hastings, where he had been a patient about eight days. Born September 26, 1877 in Chester, Eaton county, he was a son of Phillip and Ophelia David and had been a lifelong resident of Eaton and Ionia counties. He had been a resident of Lake Odessa for 18 years coming from Mulliken. His wife Edna died June 23, 1951. Surviving are one son, Raymond of Clarksville; two grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The body is at the Pickens funeral chapel where service will be conducted at 1 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in Danby cemetery..
