Ionia County News - Thursday Aug. 28, 1930

               Funeral Held For Pioneer Resident Of Hubbardston

Miss Bridget Eagen, 73, pioneer resident of Hubbardston, died at the home of 
Peter Nolan Sunday of Peter Nolan Sunday morning, after a brief illness. Miss 
Eagen devoted much of her life to the service o others. She was a member of St. 
John's Catholic church, often walking to and from services on Sunday a distance 
of six miles.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at nine o'clock from St. John 
church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jerry Grace, of Carson and Mrs. 
Peter Noland.
