Ionia Daily Standard, 14 Aug 1905

Thirsa, wife of Thomas Eager, died at Mecosta, on Saturday at 1 a.m., at age of
70 years, and the remains were brought to Ionia today, for interment in the
family lot in Highland Park, where she has two sons, Edward and Dick, at rest. 
The family were residents of Ionia for twelve years – up to eight years ago,
when they went north.  The funeral party who accompanied the remains was
composed of the bereaved husband, the son William and wife, the son Alfred of
Remus, the daughter Etta, and a brother, Robert Chambers, of Howell.  Rev. W.R.
Currier officiated with prayer at the grave.
