The Ionia Standard, Friday, June 15, 1906


The remains of Mrs. Julia S. Eager arrived here from Remus at 11:20 Monday, 
and were conveyed to Highland Park for burial, where brief services were held 
by Rev. Dr. Cogshall.  Besides the husband and other friends, delegations from 
the Gleaners and L.O.T.M. accompanied.  She had been prominent in both orders, 
having been commander of the latter, and an officer of the former, several 
years.  She was the wife of Wm. Eager, and they were former residents of 
Ionia. Leaving here about seven years ago.
