Born in Berlin township, he was the son of Oscar and Lydia Earle and had taught school at the Randall school in Berlin for many years. He moved from Berlin to a farm at Barryton about 15 years ago and six years ago went to Jackson to make his home with his daughter. Surviving besides Mrs. Chabut are three sons, Willis P. Earle, jr., of Jackson, Harry Earle, with the army in New Guinea, and Kenneth Earle, also of Jackson; six grandchildren and one brother Dr. Plynn Earle, of Jackson. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at a Jackson funeral home. The body will be brought to Saranac cemetery where prayer services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
