Frank G. Earle, 85, died at 6 p.m. Monday at the home of his son, Forest, in
Barryton.  Born in Garrettsville, Ohio, August 3, 1856, he came to Ionia county
when he was three years old.  He lived in the county for 59 years on a farm.  He
was a mail carrier out of Lake Odessa for many years and he bought a farm in
Barryton in 1915.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Osborne of Lansing; a son, Forest; nine
grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Lochers of Saranac, and Mrs. Fannie
Emmons of Barryton; one brother, Eugene Earle, of Sears.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Morris funeral home in
Saranac.

Mr. Earle is the firth member of his class of the Randell school in Berlin
township that has died during the past winter.  The others who died were Mrs.
Anna Faulkner Denman, Mrs. Gertrude Smith Sherwood, Mrs. Mary Wiltenburg Walters
and Mrs. A. E. Rising.
