Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday October 10, 1968

Services Held for Flossie Earle

Mrs. Flossie Earle, 91, of Lake Odessa passed away at the Ionia Manor on 
Wednesday following a long illness. Mrs.Earle was born August 8, 1877 in Sebewa 
township of Ionia county, the daughter of William and Adelia (Houseman) Kott. 
She was the widow of Lewis Earle and had been a lifelong resident of the lake 
Odessa area. She was a member of the Calvary U.B. Church.

Mrs. Earle is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs.Avard (Myrtle) Earle of Lake 
Odessa; four grand daughters and one grandson; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 
great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 4, at 3:30 p.. at the Pickens 
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. Rev. Vernon Beardsley and Rev. Norman Wilbert 
officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
