Ionia Daily Sentinel, 23 Sep 1954

Miss Elizabeth Earley, 85, of 616 Lafayette street, died in the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital about midnight Wednesday.  She had been a patient there since 
April 22.

She was born Sept. 7, 1869 in England and came to the United States in 1922 
where she settled in Ionia and has made her home here since that time.

Miss Earley was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul church and the Rosary 
Society.

She is survived by a niece, Mrs. H. H. McGowan of Ionia and also a niece in 
Brazil, South America; two nephews, James Poole, Sr. of Ionia and Joseph Poole 
of Rochester, Ind.; grand nephew, James Poole, Jr. of Ionia, and a grand niece, 
Mrs. Frank Schaden of Detroit.

Rosary will be recited at the Boynton funeral home Friday evening at 7:30.  
Funeral services will be conducted at the SS. Peter and Paul church Saturday 
morning at 9 o’clock.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
