Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Apr 1934

Funeral services for Thomas Earley will be held from the home of his sister, Mrs. 
Joseph Poole, 616 Lafayette street at 8 o’clock, and from the SS Peter and Paul 
church at 9 o’clock Thursday morning.  Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.  Mr. Earley had been a resident of Ionia for the past 30 years, working 
for the most part at the P. M. shops, and for the past two years acting as sexton 
at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  He had been taken to the St. Mary’s hospital in Grand 
Rapids two weeks ago, where he was operated on for internal ulcers March 29 and 
from which he did not recover.
