Ionia Sentinel Standard - Wed. June 20, 1956

                             FOREST M. EARNEST

Forest M.Earnest, 53, resident of Riverside drive, Ionia for the past three 
years, died Monday June 18 a few minute before midnight. He had been a patient 
at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital and had been admitted several times.

He was born January 28, 1903 at Fenwick, the son of Mr.and Mrs.Frank Earnest, a 
lifelong resident of Fenwick. He was employed by the Montcalm County Road 
Commission and upon residing in Ionia was employed by Ionia County Road 
Commission.

Surviving are one son, Forest Earnest Jr.,stationed with the U.S. Navy at 
Norfolk, Va., a daughter, Mrs.Frederick Morris of route 2, Fenwick and one 
sister, Mrs.George Townsend of Orleans.

Funeral services at 4 o'clock at the Stebbins Funeral Home in Sheridan with the 
Rev.H.S. Ellis of Belding officiating.Interment will be in Clear Lake Cemetery, 
near Sheridan.
